We are pleased to share the IDEAL dashboards

IRDS is pleased to announce that the IDEAL Dashboards have been updated with data for AY22-23. Overall, the AY22-23 data are similar to AY21-22, and show that almost a third (31%) of undergraduate students identify with one or more of race/ethnicities commonly denoted “URM,” or “Under-Represented Minority” (American Indian/Alaska Native, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, and Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander). Among benefits-eligible staff, 17% identify as URM, and among Professoriate faculty, 9% identify as URM. Graduate students are 15% URM and 35% international, while Postdoctoral Scholars are 7% URM and 62% international. Students, Staff, Faculty, and Postdocs all showed an increase in the number of URM individuals in AY22-23, as compared to the year prior.
