IDEAL Diversity Equity and Inclusion Survey Released

In May 2021, as part of the IDEAL initiative, Stanford administered a diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) survey to students, postdoctoral scholars, faculty, and staff. Designed by Stanford’s Office of Institutional Research and Decision Support, the survey was based on a year-long process that included extensive community feedback and review of existing survey research. On November 17, 2021, Stanford publicly released the first set of findings – including a narrative summary, a slide deck of top-level findings, individual reports by sub-population, and interactive dashboards for exploring the data.
